Music Festival Branding

Ravenwood Experience

Worthy of an Encore

Ravenwood Experience, an outdoor Sherwood Park music festival, hired us for our branding and design services. The board of directors envisioned a logo that would not only pique interest but a mark that would leave fans of all ages wanting more.

The Music Festival

Ravenwood Experience is a family-focused event intended to connect the Albertan community.

Marketing Materials

To uphold their goal of supporting local businesses, we pitched the idea of selling a small collection of co-branded merchandise at the music festival. The plan was to gift exclusive apparel in exchange for presale tickets and to roll out a second selection of locally-made products at the event.

Behind the Scenes

Before putting pencil to paper, the board of directors walked us through their vision for the brand. Inspired by the event’s name, Ravenwood, we drew up nature-themed concepts that seamlessly integrated musical references.

The Logo

Creativity and curiosity led us to unique results. The winning logo morphs a slice of wood into the shape of a vinyl record, and the hand-drawn lines within the design act as both tree rings and vinyl grooves. The musical rings symbolize the festival’s expanding fanbase and embody the rhythm of sound waves.

The Colours

We set the stage using neon colours. The contrasting tones trigger brand awareness and curiosity. Additionally, purple, cyan, and magenta are easily recognizable, resulting in eye-catching merchandise and signage that will visibly stand out at the outdoor music festival.
